Randy Knight, B.Comm, CIP

Randy is a senior multi-line adjuster. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary in 1984 and his Chartered Insurance Professional designation in 2005. Randy started his insurance career as an independent adjuster in Calgary with a multi-national firm. Two years later, he returned to his hometown of Kelowna. In 1992, Randy joined Pritchard Woodall & Associates Ltd. as a managing partner and worked for them until 2007, when he and Steve purchased the Kelowna office and started Knight Easton and Associates Ltd. He specializes in large complex Personal Lines, Commercial and Multi Residential claims.

Steve Easton, CIP

Steve is a senior multi-line adjuster. Born and raised in Vancouver, he started his insurance career in 1982 as a staff adjuster with Canadian Indemnity Insurance Company. In 1986 he became an independent adjuster and joined the Vancouver office of Pritchard Woodall and Associates Ltd. and became a partner in 1999.
Steve relocated to Kelowna, B.C. in 1995 to work in their branch office, where he remained until 2007, when he and Randy purchased the business and started Knight Easton & Associates Ltd. He specializes in complex Casualty claims including Municipal and Ski Hill liability.

Michael Turner, BA, CIP

Michael is a senior multi-line adjuster who started his career in 1987 after graduating from the Insurance Administration program at Mohawk College. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Western Ontario and his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation in 1990. Michael moved to Kelowna in 1991 to manage the branch of a large national adjusting firm and eventually became the Regional Manager. With over 30 years of independent adjusting experience, Michael has handled claims of every type and size. He specializes in large loss residential and commercial property, and liability claims. Beyond adjusting, Michael’s unique knowledge of computer systems and coding helped him develop a number of software systems used throughout the insurance and restoration industry.

Thomas Turner

Thomas is a third-generation insurance adjuster with a diploma in Law. He worked in the restoration industry and then used that experience to provide a high caliber of service in his handling of property and liability claims. His approach is founded on an early focus and assessment of the loss and delivering a timely and successful outcome. Thomas is an experienced large loss adjuster and has a history of delivering excellent results-driven claims management strategies. Thomas has an in-depth understanding of computer software and is always looking to innovate using the latest systems and techniques.

 

Christopher Knight, BSc

Chris was born and raised in Kelowna. In 2012 he moved to Victoria where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sustainability. Following his studies, Chris worked for a consulting firm specializing in hazardous materials before accepting a position with the Vancouver Island Health Authority. He has a thorough understanding of the regulations related to asbestos and mould, which he applies to the investigation and adjustment of property claims. In 2018, Chris returned to Kelowna to pursue an adjusting career. With his diverse background and ties to local community Chris is able to handle all types of claims including property, liability, environmental and automobile.

J.W. (Jim) Denton

Jim began his career as an independent adjuster in 1981. He is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) accredited by the Insurance Institute of Canada. Jim’s ability to establish professional relationships founded on integrity and trust has led to a wealth of experience in auto and general liability claims including both personal injury and property damage. He has also handled residential property, marine, commercial property and strata claims. Jim now concentrates his efforts on auto and general liability throughout the interior of British Columbia.

 

Heidi Hutton

Heidi is a multi-line adjuster and is working towards her Chartered Insurance Professional designation. She started her insurance career in 1991 in Surrey as administrative assistant with Pritchard Woodall & Associates Ltd. In 2000 Heidi became an independent adjuster and continued to work for the firm until 2006, when she decided to work with a well established national firm. In 2008, Heidi relocated to Kelowna to continue her career with Knight Easton and Associates Ltd. She specializes in Personal Lines, Commercial, Multi Residential and Casualty claims.

Lynne Johnson

Lynne is a general automobile and liability adjuster. After graduating from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay with a B. Phe. (Hon) degree, Lynne moved to Toronto where she worked as a Pharmaceutical Representative for four years. In 1990 Lynne moved to Vancouver and began her adjusting career with ICBC handling auto, accident benefit and property damage claims. Relocating to Kelowna in 1992 Lynne continued with ICBC until 2001 when her husband’s job took them to California. After raising two athletic sons Lynne returned to adjusting, specializing in the investigation and settlement of automobile and general liability claims.

 

Robert Morton, CIP

Robert has been managing and adjusting losses for over 35 years and is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP). He began working in the insurance industry in 1985 after graduating from Camosun College with a diploma in Business Finance.  He quickly gained experience in complex liability matters and personal injury cases. Robert has worked as a staff adjuster and with several independent adjusting firms and is known to be an exceptionally strong, reliable and efficient investigator. He has extensive experience in liability investigation, municipal claims, large motor vehicle losses and complex injury claims.

Anthony Haines, BBA

Anthony is newly licensed adjuster and looks forward to building his career in the adjusting industry. Anthony worked five years in the financial and life insurance industry and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Finance. He is excited to use his experience in forming and cultivating relationships with clients to provide a high level of service when dealing with liability and property claims and plans to continue his education to obtain the Chartered Insurance Professional designation.

Christopher Turner

Christopher Turner, BBA

The start of Chris’ insurance career began in 2020 after he graduated from Okanagan College with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree specializing in accounting. New to the field of adjusting, Chris has quickly gained experience by handling a variety of claims such as residential property, marine, commercial property and strata. He is keen to maximize the expertise of his team to acquire valuable knowledge of the industry and apply it to all aspects of insurance adjusting. Chris plans to continue his education and further his expertise in the insurance industry by becoming certified as a Chartered Insurance Professional.
